These devastating numbers highlight a system in urgent need of reform. That’s where Courageous Conversation® Global Foundation (CCGF) steps in—providing law enforcement officers across the country with implicit bias and de-escalation training designed to prevent violence, save lives, and help everyone return home safely.

In 2024, 326 Black people were killed by police officers—a grim statistic that marks yet another record high. Black individuals remain three times more likely to be killed by law enforcement than white individuals. Yet only 20% of fatal police killings are captured by body cameras, and even when they are, less than 7% lead to prosecution.

As part of National Child Abuse Prevention Month, David&Goliath Brooklyn (D&G BKNY) partnered with CRC to stop predators in their tracks by launching “Confessions of a Predator,” a pro bono campaign that effectively turns predators into their own whistleblowers for lawmakers to take urgent action.

Social media is where 82% of child sex crimes start. And, followers aren't harmless. 85% of online predators will become hands-on abusers. Many parents don't realize that what seems like an innocuous photo of their child is much more nefarious in the hands of a predator. For Child Abuse Prevention Month, we encouraged parents to watch what they post and post safer when they do.

44% of transgender adults report suicidal ideation, not due to the nature of being transgender but due to the nature of hate and discrimination. One of the most impactful ways to cultivate positive mental health amongst transgender individuals is through gender-affirming care. And, one of the most effective, affordable, and self-expressive ways to do that is through one's hair. Unfortunately, it's not always easy to find a salon or barber shop that will provide that kind of care. Enter, "Strands for Trans."
